“Whether it’s a multi-channel audio or stereo source, the tonal reproduction of the SP32 can be described as vivid and detailed. It achieves the difficult balance of bass and low midrange warmth with the right amount of bright sound intensity.
Thus, the depth and width of the acoustic stage in all playback formats is excellently represented. In the surround field, movements appear organic and not obvious. Speech intelligibility is excellent, so song and spoken words are reproduced vividly but with a relaxed quality without audible sharpening or hardening.

Listening impressions are of a very natural sound, so well designed that they also do not affect the phase response and the group delay.
This surround preamplifier is recommended for all those who take the sonic experience to heart and who do not want to get lost in the menu. So connect, install and enjoy the sound!

The SP32 has such a reservoir of power and communicates with such precise fluidity. They are just as remarkable playing very softly with the touch of a watchmaker. The SP32HD is at its best on DTS HD MA recordings, with astonishing slam, speed and precision. It never gets overwhelmed, rushed or wrong-footed. The absence of all electronic room correction is liberating and provides space around all the sound stage.

Throw a 24/96 PCM stereo source at it and I often struggle to leave the room. The sheer amount of data it presents is just extraordinary. The sense of realism, of environment of ‘just wanting to pick up its skirts and run’ makes it a treasure to own. I send frequencies down to a very low level to the 802 Diamonds as they have an extraordinary low frequency capability. Thus the only sound from the sub is from the LFE channel thus I can easily observe the control the SP32 has over the lowest frequency and it is always fast, clean and way way down deep. I have set the Parasound amps to run in ultra high class A bias and the combination is a sense of believability I have never heard before.

The SP32 is neutral but not cold and can sing like Eva Cassidy.”

AudioQuest Quartz uses Hyperlitz construction to eliminate strand interaction and ensure the highest definition audio signal.

The Audioquest Quartz Cables are of a large Diameter with a deep Blue Jacket.

The extreme high purity and refined crystal structure of FPC-6 copper greatly reduces distortion compared to OFHC, LC-OFC or OCC.

The custom made AQ RCA plugs are welded to Quartz by sending 8,000 amperes through the cable and plug for 33 millionths of a second.
The result is an ideal connection with commingles the molecules of the cable and the plug.

Inside we find three conductors of 0.6mm Diameter (22 Gauge) “functionally perfect copper” in individual polypropylene insulation twisted together.
This bundle of wires is surrounded by a metallised mylar-foil shield with another 22 Gauge copper wire connecting the shield.

The plugs are of good quality, with a split centre-pin to improve the contact. The insulation is Teflon.
Instead of soldering the cable to the plug Audioquest uses high current welding for what they claim to produces a superior connection when compared to soldering.
Again the shield is connected only on one end of the cable and the Cable is marked for directionality.
The loop resistance is low at around 200mOhm with a fairly low 80 pf capacitance.

tnt-audio.com – The sense of acoustic space and fine detail certainly seemed to match my reference cable.

soundstagenetwork.com – Right out of the box, the Quartz was obviously superior. The big difference was in how the highs were extended. There was a clarity to top-end sounds that I’d never heard before out of my system. The overall tonal balance actually seemed less bright, and far less fatiguing, even though there was actually more output there.
Compared with the less expensive cables I tried, the Quartz gave a wider and deeper image.
With the Quartz being a surprisingly big step up from even the slightly less expensive Ruby. Satisfied (and a bit shocked) that spending $165 for a cable could actually be a good value in my approximately $3000 system.
I started to feel like the Quartz had better bass.

One of the best of the older Audioquest copper cables, higher than the acclaimed Ruby and Topaz in the Audioquest line-up.

The latest incarnation, CDX2 has incorporated some useful new enhancements, including a switchable digital output and extra low-noise clock regulation.

It is different from the motorised assemblies used by other players, but undoubtedly better, with superior isolation and resistance to resonance.

Naim Hi Line Interconnect DIN Cable

5 pin DIN to 5 pin DIN

The Hi-Line Air-PLUG (patented) is designed as a decoupling device to prevent vibrations from one product being transmitted, through the cable, to another product and to stop airborne vibrations picked up by the cable being transmitted to the products to which it is connected.

The cable section of the Hi-Line also benefited from a complete re-think. It had to be low capacitance, low resistance and flexible. It had to work superbly in DIN to DIN connections but it also had to perform when used in other configurations.

The cable, exclusive to Naim, is manufactured from twisted pairs of 80 Litz conductors surrounded by PTFE, Kapton and PTFE tape all then enclosed within a semi conductive shield to reduce static charges. This is then wrapped by two spiral wound copper shields and lapped PTFE tape. Two of these assemblies side by side are then wrapped in layers of PTFE tape and finally a rubber outer covering.

This gives a two-channel cable where the signal and RF grounds are held in a static position relative to each other negating any difference in field between them

The Cyrus dAD7 followed the lead of Cyrus world class Discmaster/Dacmaster two box player, sharing many of its advanced techniques.
The dAD7’s 18 bit Digital to Analogue conversion module running at 8 times base sample rate achieves well over 100 dB true dynamic range with negligible distortion.
Superior resolution of the low-level signals that in turn enables the system to reproduce the subtle nuances of the music and the atmosphere of the recording venue accurately.
The high stability, low jitter system clock module featured in the dAD7 is to ensure that low level information is not masked by time related distortion artefacts.
Extensive inter-stage Power supply decoupling together with star-earthing techniques are responsible for isolating the sensitive analogue stages from high-speed digital circuits.
